Inter-Agency, Google Jigsaw Partnership Yields Record Community Participation

The BG2050 organization partnered with Google Jigsaw to create a public outreach campaign, website, video, and social to drive participation in conversation about the future of the Bowling Green community. Instead of working with a large out-of-state agency, they let us convene a group of local agencies together to execute.

The Challenge

Develop a quick mode of operating amongst 5-6 differently skilled agencies and work with the needs of a large tech company while still reaching the community in a genuine and authentic way. Moreover, to get people to actually share their opinions about the community productively. We had to get the right sample size to the website to weigh in.

Our Solution

While Passage did not brand this project or shoot the key production; we shot creative and organic behind the scenes content; we designed, edited and launched all of the organic social media content, built the website, and controlled realtime social event takeover engagements.

The Outcome

This project was an overwhelming success, even taking home the Best in Show award at the regional marketing awards in 2025. What remains on the What Could BG Be site sums it up best "We asked, and you answered. You shared over 4000 ideas, and weighed in over 1,000,000 times!"
